Rohit Asawa is the Chairman & Managing Director of Himalaya Nutravedics India Ltd. and a dynamic entrepreneur with over a decade of experience across the technology, pharmaceutical, ayurvedic, and nutraceutical industries. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a rapidly expanding enterprise operating across more than 17 states in India, with a product portfolio exceeding 200 SKUs, strong manufacturing partnerships, and an established distribution and marketing presence in the health and wellness sector.

Recognized for his strategic foresight and people-first leadership, Mr. Asawa believes in “being in the game” – staying actively involved in operations and maintaining close engagement across all functions of the organization. His leadership philosophy emphasizes transparency, empowerment, and employee well-being, fostering a culture where talent is nurtured, accountability is encouraged, and every team member grows alongside the organization.

Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, he held technical and managerial roles at Ericsson India and Ericsson Inc. (USA), where he managed cross-functional teams and led large-scale network integration projects for global clients. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Computer Networks) from San Jose State University, USA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad, bringing together technical expertise, strategic insight, and a vision to make Ayurvedic and nutraceutical solutions accessible globally.
